July17, 2025 “Bring Home a Ribbon: Preparing Honey for Show”

Your honey is the best there is, right? Think it’s good enough to win a blue ribbon? This year the Bedford County Fair has expanded its honey show eligibility area to include Campbell County. So, if you are interested in showing off your honey, you will want to attend our July meeting. Ann Zudekoff, Master Beekeeper, honey judge, and winner of a multitude of ribbons for her honey and bee products will give the club a presentation on how to prepare your honey for show.

This month, we will attempt a virtual Zoom meeting with a presentation on Africanized Bees from Chuck Brooks, PBA Vice President. Our goal is to also record this meeting and make it available through the PBA website and Facebook page after the virtual meeting.

I suggest you set up well before the meeting because of possible technical difficulties. ~
