Four guest speakers, David Miner, Harriet Walker, Asher Foster, and Caroline Walker gave short presentations highlighting their own personal perspectives on honeybees, hive care, and marketing honey.
July 16, 2026 “Grand Friends”
This month the spotlight was on our young beekeepers and their experiences with beekeeping. Young people are the future of bee keeping and we have several talented youngsters in our group. The kids enjoyed picking their raffle prizes from a wide variety of bee-related items. Thanks to those who donated the prizes. We topped off the evening with ice cream sundaes and a “swag bag.” full of goodies.
Family and friends joined their young folks in making crafts and taking a look into the observation hive provided by Paul Tabor.
