June 21 Annual Club Picnic

PBA members and their families gathered for their annual club picnic on Saturday, June 21st. It was an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun! There was a honey extraction equipment demo as well as a few games. A good time was had by all.

Bring Home a Ribbon: Preparing Honey for a Show

A presentation was given by EAS Master Beekeeper, Ann Zudekoff. Ann began her training as a honey show judge at the Young Harris Institute and has been entering honey shows since 2012. She has participated in judging regional shows in several states. Ann has brought home dozens of prize ribbons from regional and national shows. She’ll shared with club members the procedures, tips, and tricks for preparing your honey for entry in upcoming shows.

Do you know what this is? Next time you see Ann, ask her!
