Julie Arthur was the winner of an Anel insulated complete hive.
Grace Tesdall was awarded her certificate as a Certified Apprentice Beekeeper at the VSBA meeting.
October 16 Dr. Elena Black presented the Apimaye Insulated Hive System.
Elena demonstrated the Apimaye hive, available accessories, and the costs of the system. She also led a discussion comparing the Apimaye beehive system to the standard wooden Langstroth hive.
