July17, 2025 “Bring Home a Ribbon: Preparing Honey for Show”

Your honey is the best there is, right? Think it’s good enough to win a blue ribbon? This year the Bedford County Fair has expanded its honey show eligibility area to include Campbell County. So, if you are interested in showing off your honey, you will want to attend our July meeting. Ann Zudekoff, Master Beekeeper, honey judge, and winner of a multitude of ribbons for her honey and bee products will give the club a presentation on how to prepare your honey for show.

Monthly PBA meeting - August 18th, 2022 7pm

  • Centenary Methodist Church (map)

Our August meeting, we'll be hosting Ben Marietta, from Bee Happy Farms.

Ben has been keeping bees since about age 6 (with a little help from Mom, of course)

As a commercial beekeeper, he learned that bear fences need to be not only efficient, but also easy to move from location to location,

he will show us how to construct fences that are minimalist but effective.

Looking forward to seeing you there
